The “Macro”Advantage

Most lenses at this focal length have a frustratingly long minimum focus distance, but this one lets you get much tighter for flower or detail shots while keeping that f/2.8 bokeh.

•Condition

Excellent! Beautifully maintained exceptionally well preserved. The barrel shows almost no signs of heavy use, and the diamond-cut grip is still sharp and deep-black. It’s rare to find theseSam-yang-built Sears lenses without significant 'brassing' (paint wear), but this one looks like it spent most of its life in a padded bag.

• Glass: Optics are nice and clear. No fungus, haze, or separation issues.

• Mechanics: The focus ring has a nice, smooth throw—not gritty or loose.

• Aperture: The blades are clean and dry (no oil) and snap quickly at every stop.

• Body: Very clean cosmetically. The "diamond" grip rubber is still tight and hasn't gone sticky or grey.

Compatibility

This is a Pentax K (PK) mount. It’ll mount directly to classic film bodies like the K1000, ME Super, or Ricoh XR series.
