SHIPPING
We offer multiple shipping services through USPS, FedEx and UPS. Click the "details" link in the shipping section to see the basic options. Additional shipping services through these carriers which are not in the eBay listing are available. Please inquire for a shipping quote with a preferred service.
COMBINED SHIPPING: most items will be automatically calculated in the cart with USPS Ground Advantage as the default. While in the cart, click on the "Request combined shipping" link to get the exact shipping costs for USPS, FedEx and UPS for the order (this does not require a commitment to purchase). In the alternative, the combined shipping price for USPS, FedEx and UPS is available in the checkout screen (prior to confirming payment) by choosing the desired shipping method for each individual item. All items must have the same shipping carrier/method to see the combined shipping discount for the order.
COMBINED SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE SEPARATE ORDERS: if several separate orders are made within a short timeframe and before the first package ships, shipping will be combined on the orders and any overages will be refunded. Please be aware that once we receive notification from eBay that an order has been paid, shipping processes may commence soon thereafter.
LOCAL PICKUP: only select this option if you plan to pick up your order in person in Apex, North Carolina. If this option is chosen in error, please cancel the order and re-order your items with an appropriate shipping method.
Orders are processed for shipping within 24 hours of payment and are transferred to USPS, FedEx or UPS the same day or next business day.
If a package is returned due to incomplete or incorrect address provided by the buyer in eBay, a refund will be issued upon receipt of the item(s) and will exclude the original shipping charge.
Model train items are carefully packaged to protect delicate parts such as trucks, couplers, stirrups, railings and other fragile parts. All items are secured safely in the package to prevent movement or damage during shipping and to protect the items from possible "blunt force trauma" within the mailing system.
