This dust cover came stock with MK2 turntables was designed to be used with hinges, however it can also simply be placed on top of all of the mentioned models of SL-1200 / 1210. However -- if you do use this cover with hinges, note that all models past the MK2 need special hardware to install hinge receptacles on.
