This appears to be brass. Approx 18 hanging glass/crystal strands. Ceiling light measures approx 8" across. 

Flaw- This appears to be missing a connector piece in the center. The one present doesn't seem long enough. Maybe Im wrong....

This was removed from my grandmothers house from the 1950s many, many years ago and has been sitting in a forgotten box. So I didn't see what it looked like hanging, thats why I'm unsure if there is a missing part. Light taken apart, all crystal/glass strands removed and bubble warpped.
