About the Product
Air admittance valves can be used to vent branch and stack plumbing system drain in a home or building.
The purpose of an air admittance valve is (1) to provide a method of allowing air to enter a plumbing system as an alternative to a vent extended outside a building to outside air (2) to prevent plumbing system sewer gases from entering inside a building and (3) to protect against siphonage of a plumbing fixture trap.

The air admittance valve is the only patented dual sealing air admittance valve that offers 2x the superior seal to prevent sewer gas and odors from escaping into a home or building.
The valve opens to satisfy negative pressures that can develop in the plumbing drainage system when the fixture begins to drain allowing air to enter the plumbing drainage system.
The valve has two seals that close by gravity at zero (0) differential pressure, and under positive internal pressure and in low-pressure conditions.
The valve can be used in new or existing applications as a secondary vent alternative to a vent extended to the roof outside
