The goal:

 vintage, wide sweep along with extreme vocal reactiveness, using the classic vox 90s V847 as the basis to create an economical wah that retains the classic look and feel that guitarists everywhere love

to achieve this, carbon comp resistors, special caps and a military grade pot were chosen. 

The mod is so extensive that no parts remain on the original board except for the original N30 special wind inductor which is a favorite amongst wah aficionados. 

gagan's circuit experience was put to use, the tweaks to this new design create harmonics and expressiveness that must be played to really be felt and heard! 

features: 

old stock USA and Japan carbon comp resistors for true, organic vintage response and feel. modern Chinese carbon comps simply do not sound like the old American classic resistors. 

specially selected caps.

true 1960s 2N3415 transistors for more correct 60s tone. 

military spec RV4 clarostat 250K pot with special gear. 

original '90s N30 ferrite custom wind inductor, awesome spectrum. 

standard model features original Vox wiring harness and the non-True bypass switching. 

 for an additional $45 you can select the "upgrade harness version" which features rean top quality full metal jacks, true bypass, all new wiring harness, and a filtered, protected power supply circuit featuring chassis mount power jack. please message at time of ordering to indicate selecting this option, a second invoice will be sent and your wah will be built accordingly.

your pedal will look similar to the one in the photos, good but used shells are the norm. similarly, the bottom plate will show some wear,  but will be completely straightened and refurbished. each pedal gets a full mechanical check over including full lubrication and any hardware replacements necessary for another 20 to 40 years of trouble-free use.
