Long-nose Venetian masks, or "beak masks" (Medico della Peste), are iconic, historical, and dramatic
designs traditionally featuring a long, bird-like nose. Rooted in 17th-century plague doctor attire, they
are now popular for Carnivals and masquerade as well.
Originally made often handmade from papier-mâché .
Vintage 1983 Venetian Signed Giovanni Bolicotti .
Because of this Mask is old and has been restored this is not a Perfect Mask made in China in quantity
with machinery in ABS plastic mold, etc... This Mask has been restored mostly for DISPLAY and will
look Great on a wall or for Collectors
