This is a 2017 Nik Huber Dolphin II Charcoal Burst, featuring the top-of-the-line Except. Flame Maple top, an optional extra.
Nik Huber is a guitar brand created by Nik Huber, a German craftsman with close ties to Paul Reed Smith. Nik Huber is also the official Paul Reed Smith repairman in Germany.
This particular guitar features an Except. Flame Maple top, a Mahogany back, an East Indian Rosewood fingerboard, and a Flame Maple neck. The fingerboard has a 12-16 inch compound radius, and the neck scale is 25.5 inches.
The pickups are made by European handmade pickup builder Harry Häeussel, with a Vin-N pickup in the neck position and a Vin+-B pickup in the bridge position. It also features a 5-way switch, offering a wide range of tonal variations.
