I bought this camera a little over a year ago, and have barely used it. I've taken prom pictures of my kids and their friends and used it a couple of other occassions. It's always been babied and I haven't even reached 3,000 on the shutter count. There is minor cosmetic wear on the black hard plastic around the eyecup from my metal eyeglass frames but besides that the camera looks mint and works flawlessly.
