I remember walking into the Atlanta Omni hotel for the Atlanta Fantasy Fair in 1984. I was 12 years old and had just driven up from Pensacola with my buddy Dave. His mom looked around just shook her head and told us to be careful. I ran off to find the one thing I had driven 6 hours to find... the first appearance of my favorite hero Wolverine. I saw it on the display board of one of the dealer and even though it looked a bit rough it seemed like a fair price at $10 (that was a lot for 13 year old me... about 30 times the price i paid for a new comic) anyways I got it and later that night was crushed when i got it out of the bag and it had the damn stamp cut out. Anyways i digress. Here we are now. I have a bunch of comics, im getting a new house, i dont collect (havent since I was 15 probably) look at the pictures. If you want the comic get it. Nothing is missing except that damn stamp. If you want my opinion of the grade... I'd say there is some company that will do it for you and you never get to look at the comic again.
