999 - CALLING ALL CARS!
"A Modern Game of Wireless, Scotland Yard & Police Cars"
Produced by Geographia Ltd in the 1930s - it is undated. (Not to be confused with a 1940s US game called "Calling All Cars'.)
A fantastic (and complete) example of a very rare board game published in the 1930s.
Online game blogs claim this is an incredibly scarce game and there is just one for sale online that I can find at £650.
Much like battleships the two players don't see each other's boards as the 'Bandit' does a raid somewhere and the 'Police' on the other side hunt them down via clues written by the third player - 'Scotland Yard'.
The metal cars, wooden dice shakers, and street boards are in fantastic condition. Please see below for detailed condition report.
CONDITION: A vintage board game in excellent condition. Board, figures, flippers are all complete. A few of the small plastic counters are missing: 2 blues, 3 yellows and 2 greens. The board itself is in excellent condition, clean and bright. The box lid has very minor corner wear and the bottom box has a small split to one corner. Please see the photos.
