This Auction Includes:
LOT OF 1 VINTAGE COMIC BOOK: BEYOND #29, By Ace/Periodical House In 1954. Terrific Zombie Cover, As They Get Summoned By Their Master!  This Title Is One That Is Increasingly Sought-After, And This Penultimate Issue Has One Of The Better Covers.  Plus It Contains Top Notch Art By Martin Thall, Ken Rice, Jim McLaughlin, Louis Zansky And Sy Grudko For The Stories, So The Interior Artwork Is Very Well-Illustrated, As Well.  It Is Tough To Obtain In Any Shape, Making This Intact Presentable Copy An Exciting Find. (So You May Have To Settle For A Pesky Replica "Photocopy" Edition Or At Best An Ugly Reader Copy If You Miss This Opportunity.) This Book Begins With The Ominous "Doomsmoke" Which Features A Cool Insidious Skull-Shaped Pipe, Which Features Death And Retribution.  Up Next Is The Werewolf Story Drawn By The Renowned Louis Zansky, "Legend Of The Long Third Finger", With A Wolfman As The Protagonist.  "Candles For The Undead" Includes Gruesome Grave-Robbery. The Pre-Code Horror Craze Was At Its Apex, So It's Got The Ubiquitous Salacious Content Such As Gore And Demons And Monsters And Zombies, Plus Good Girl Art And Graphic Violence And Supernatural Themes.  This Was Released As The November, 1954, Issue From Ace Magazines/Periodical House Inc.

This particular issue seldom surfaces in complete shape, so a solid bright unrestored attractive copy like this is sure to be hotly contested by the ravenous horror fans.

The Horror, Shock And Supernatural Themes Never Go Out Of Style!

This hails from my personal long-term horror collection, and I've always stored my golden-age comics fastidiously, in a dark, dry, pet-free, climate-controlled environment, within a mylar comic sleeve with archival backer-board. I bought it after a long dedicated hunt.  It is well-preserved and intact and complete and supple and flat. Everything is still attached; all the innards are still supple and Cream To Off-White, and flat and tightly connected with no dog-ears, rips, writing, stains, creases or other signs of use and all of the colors throughout are still vibrant. It does show the expected spine creasing, and some moderate edge and surface wear to both covers, and there is a center crease up the middle on the front. Back cover is creased and smudged, and there is a small tear at the bottom edge along with a chip out of the bottom corner of the spine. The bold yellow front cover still retains an impressive amount of luster, and the eye appeal of the amazing cover is solid. Crucial fare for any fan of American Pop Culture from the middle of the twentieth century.

This will be sent out in an archival Mylar sleeve with acid-free backer-board from E. Gerber, for safe long-term preservation. Of course it will also be carefully packaged very thoroughly to ensure safe delivery.
