【Martin D-28 2024 Used】
A used Martin D-28 has arrived!
A classic model with a spruce top and rosewood sides & back.
This used guitar is a 2024 model.
Although manufactured in 2024, it features the new 2025 specifications, including Sitka spruce GE bracing (found in the higher-end Modern Deluxe series), a thin, smoothly beveled comfort-edge fingerboard, and a vintage-style nut shape, resulting in improved playability and sound.
There are some scratches and scuffs from playing, but no major damage or repair history, and the frets have approximately 90% remaining height.
Currently (as photographed), the neck is straight, the string height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.6mm on the 6th string side and 1.9mm on the 1st string side, the saddle height is approximately 3.1mm on the 6th string side and 2.8mm on the 1st string side, and the truss rod has plenty of adjustment range in both directions, resulting in good playability.
There is some shrinkage of the neck heel cap due to drying and age, but there is no gap in the neck joint and it does not affect playability.
There is also some paint lifting on the top of the bridge, but this does not affect playability at present.
This is a well-played, resonant used instrument!
