This is one of many pieces that are being posted from a relative's collection which she purchased back in the 1990's.  These are silver plated items which have NOT been polished before posting.   They are all in antique condition, meaning silver quality is as shown.   Will note if any damage is seen.

This is a beautiful old ornate pickle castor made up of four pieces.  On the bottom of the silver base it is marked "Middletown Plate Co. 94 Quadrupleplage Hard White Metal".  It measures approx 11" high and 4" wide at base.  It has a pressed glass insert in very good condition.   The glass insert has a zipper design, and on the cover it is engraved "Florence".  There's a pickle fork marked 1835 R. Wallace A1.   The fork is in great condition.   The Castor has a missing hook on one side (see photo).  Does not detract from piece.  Originally purchased in the 90's for $280.
