How It Works
The oil lamp works by drawing lamp oil up through the wick using capillary action.
Once lit, the wick produces a steady flame. The wick height can be adjusted to control brightness.
Instructions for Use
- Open the top cover and slowly fill the lamp chamber with kerosene or approved lamp oil
- Do not fill beyond 2/3 capacity
- Insert the wick properly so it fully absorbs the oil
- Leave about 1–2 cm of wick exposed for lighting
- Light carefully using a match or lighter
- Adjust the wick height to control the flame
- Extinguish safely by covering the flame or gently blowing it out
Safety Precautions
- Do NOT use gasoline, alcohol, or other explosive/flammable liquids
- Use only kerosene or dedicated lamp oil
- Keep away from children, pets, curtains, paper, and other flammable materials
- Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface during use
- Never leave the lamp unattended while lit
- Turn it off completely before sleeping
- If the lamp tips over, cover with a damp cloth — do not pour water directly on oil fire
