Product Description

Coin Highlights:
  • Contains 12 grams or .386 oz of .999 fine Silver.
  • This magnificent coin comes in a box with a certificate of authenticity from the Monnaie de Paris.
  • Mintage of 2,500 coins.
  • Reverse: Features all the regions that form the French territory. The outline of the design is covered by sandblasted discs of varying diameters. Their positioning forms the silhouette of mainland France, distinguished by its polished finish. This silhouette is covered by the RF letters, on which the French flag is engraved in heraldry, and by the 5 face value. The names of all the French mainland regions are written on their geographical location. At the bottom are the silhouettes of Corse and the overseas regions.
  • Obverse: Gathers the essential components of Ile de France. The design is articulated around the ultimate representation of the region, Paris and even France: the Eiffel Tower. The tower carries the name of the region, inscribed in place of its first floor. On the right, the head of a majestic stag reminds of its parks, woods and forest. Three fleur-de-lis, arranged around the stag, refer to the coat of arm of the territory. On the other side of the tower, Louis XVI is represented in profile, his name written in his hair. Below his portrait is a decorative element from the gate of the palace of Versailles.
  • Guaranteed by the Monnaie de Paris.
