This is a highly sought after collectible, only 3000 of these were produced and quietly released last November.  This is a replica of the lightsaber wielded by The Stranger, or Qmir, from the Acolyte series, and is one of the coolest lightsabers to show up on screen in a while.  It has a unique and functional design where the hilt can be split into two hilts, creating a shorter shoto blade to allow surprise attacks and dual wielding.  There were some concerns with this saber when people started receiving them, specifically that the blade is very snug when fixed into the hilt and some users could not get it back out.  I only opened this specifically to test and make sure the blade could be released once locked in place.  I can confirm that the fit is indeed snug, more than other Disney hilts, but I was able to get the blade back out.  Because it is snug, take careful note of which way you twisted the blade to lock it in place, otherwise it is easy to think you have it wrong and start twisting the wrong direction, which only makes things more stuck and risks breaking the blade.  After testing and photographing the saber, the whole thing went right back in the box it came in exactly as shipped and has been stored there ever since.  It is from a smoke free home.  I hate to part with it, but alas I've run out of space and won't be able to display this as I had intended.  Please review the photos carefully as they are of the item that will ship, not stock images.
