Measurements: Saucer 4 1/2” diameter  Cup 1 7/8” high  2 1/4” diameter

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacture, or KPM, around 1900.  It has the printed red orb and under glaze scepter marks, first quality. The shape of this set is Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) and of the period. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There is a delicate, wispy border of gilding on the rims.  The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. The simplicity of form and design exude timeless  elegance.  #E1897
