Waltham Depollier Trench Watch Parts Project
Accumulated parts from a Waltham Depollier trench watch restoration I started too long ago.
You will receive the following items (shown in pics):
- Incomplete Depollier Case - No Crown, no Top lug. G&S Acrylic crystal installed. Case snaps together OK. numerous nicks etc from 100 years of use/storage. Caseback engraved F.T.C.
- Waltham 3/0 model 1900 movement Grade 315 Serial # 20936874 (est yr prd - 1917). Balance staff replaced. It looks like I could not get the roller table onto the new balance staff? Roller table in loose parts. Seconds wheel lower jewel setting is loose
- An additional Waltham 3/0 model 1900 movement Grade 315 Serial # 19584869 with dial and hands (est yr prd - 1917). Balance staff has a bit of end shake but may be ok.
- Ceramic Dial and hands for Waltham movement - chip in dial 10 - doesn't really show inside case.
- Stem and sleeve for case/movement. I'm not sure if the sleeve is correct.
- Mismatched Gold crown w/ bad threads.
- 2 case screws.
To complete the restoration you will need (at minimum) to acquire a Depollier silver Khaki crown, a Depollier silver wire lug for the top of the case, and resolve the poor fitting roller table on the movement balance.
