A fabulous vintage 1970s Dymo Home Labelmaker Model 1780, in original box with instruction, leaflet, 2 reels of tape and 2 out of the original 3 letter wheels present.
There is some wear to the box in places, consistent with age. There is what looks like a water or liquid stain around the base of the box (see pics)
The labelmaker is in lovely condition. The only defect I can see is a couple of very tiny marks on the base - hardly noticeable. There is a slight crease to the gold label - looks like a manufacturing artifact.
The two reels of tape have a yellow translucent look and a grid pattern - these are possibly the cloth marking tape mentioned on the box but I don't really know.
There is also a small amount of red tape present in the labelmaker.
I have tried it out and the print is showing up a bit faint - not sure if this is because the tape is old? Seems to go better when you squeeze the trigger harder, but I've only tried out a few letter as there isn't much of the red tap left.
