Stunning solid brass model depicting the bow of a wooden galleon boat ploughing through waves with a beautiful female figurehead.

She is mounted on a wooden shield.

This comes with two brass sails that I presume attach to the brass rods seen in the pictures but I can't figure out how they are attached.

The figure measures 22 cm high, 17 cm at the widest point and 16 cm deep.

The shield measures 19 cm x 21.5 cm and the whole weighs 1,727 grams.

A most unusual piece with age to it.
