Drexel Italian Provincial Triune Mahogany Mid-Century Modern

Italian Provincial Cabinetry by Drexel Heritage, circa late 1960's. Part of their Triune collection, finished in Mahogany. Features a rectangular form sporting a Tuscan inspired design with a fluted apron, paneled doors and brass hardware. Can be restored or converted to Five-Door Compartment Credenza, Buffet Table or Upscale Office Use.

The Motorola X 300 three channel stereo console is a beautiful example of why most modern audio equipment doesn't hold a candle to vintage systems. Crafted in the 1960s, this system was one of the most unique consoles of its era. It was one of the very first "Solid State" consoles, and Drexel wanted to show off this newer tech by placing the controls in the panel on the underside of the lid (something that wouldn't have been possible with tube technology).

When you do open the lid to this handsome solid hard-wood cabinet by Drexel, you'll find an AM/FM stereo tuner and a 4-speed turntable. The front of the console has four cabinets: two open up to reveal storage space perfect for storing records and knickknacks and two open up to reveal the speakers.

Original Owner, haven't used Stereo in decades, unknown working order, sold as-is.
Overall good cosmetic condition, with a few small scratches and nicks.

If you're looking for a real vintage restoration project, this would be a great way to go!

Please note: this item is available for LOCAL PICK UP ONLY - Nashua NH.
