ANTIQUE SILVERPLATE SUGAR TONGS

This is a dainty sugar tongs used during the time when sugar cubes were the prevalent form of sugar served at the table with tea or coffee.

They have claw tongs at each side to help firmly grip the cube.

This tong has a hallmark as can be seen in the last photo.
