Technics RS-T18
Stereo Double Cassette Deck
Made in Japan
The Technics RS-T18 is a classic stereo double cassette deck from the late 1980s, an era when Technics led the market in consumer audio components. Featuring a sleek black finish and dual-well design, this unit allows for convenient playback and high-speed tape-to-tape dubbing. It is a reliable entry for vintage audio enthusiasts looking to integrate physical media back into their home stereo setups.
• Dual cassette wells with Deck A (record/playback) and Deck B (playback)
• Dolby Noise Reduction system and Auto Tape Select for Normal, CrO2, and Metal tapes
• Synchro editing and high-speed dubbing capabilities for efficient tape copying
• Includes detachable power cord and one Memorex DBS 60 cassette tape
Condition: Faceplate shows light age-appropriate wear but all text remains legible. All buttons and the record level slider are present. The top and side panels of the metal housing show visible surface scratches and scuffs as documented in photos. Rear RCA jacks are clean. The unit powers on per seller notes, though further playback and recording functionality remains untested.
