This is an Excellent Display Condition, correctly marked Vietnam-era U.S. M7 bayonet with correct very good, used condition scabbard. This is a vintage surplus historical collectible. It’s not a postwar commercial piece, not a modern reproduction, and not a counterfeit. This is a genuine U.S. manufactured example.

Blade is unmodified. No post-factory sharpening. Edge profile remains exactly as produced. No one has messed up the blade by attempting to sharpen it. This blade was only sharpened by the BOC factory at the time of its manufacture. If you know these, you already understand what you are looking at. The photographs confirm its condition.

Marked “US M7” with BOC (Bauer Ord. Co.) manufacturer stamp.

Scabbard marked “US M8A1” with PWH manufacturer’s stamp. PWH, "Pennsylvania Working Home for the Blind" was the scabbard manufacturer.

Correct Vietnam-era peened tang construction. This is the proper configuration for this production period. Not welded. Not later commercial crap, you get what you pay for. This is authentic U.S. made, not Chinesium junk.
