The Invitrogen E-Gel Power Snap System is an integrated benchtop solution from  designed to combine DNA electrophoresis and gel imaging into a single, compact workflow.

 It utilizes dry precast gel technology to eliminate the need for manual gel pouring and buffer preparation, allowing for sample separation in as little as 10 minutes.

 

System Components :

The system is designed as a separate modular component:

1.     E-Gel Power Snap Electrophoresis Device: The base unit containing the power supply, a blue-light transilluminator (465 nm), and an amber filter for real-time visualization.

  1. E-Gel Power Snap Camera: A high-resolution modular camera that docks directly onto the base for instant image capture without a separate computer.

Features:

 

Achieve results in 10–15 minutes using precast E-Gel EX agarose gels.

Real-Time Monitoring: the integrated amber filter allows you to DNA bands migrate during the run.

Safety: Uses blue-light transillumination and SYBR-safe stains, which are safer than UV light and ethidium bromide and improve cloning efficiency by preventing DNA damage.

Small Footprint

Features an intuitive color touchscreen with pre-programmed protocols for various gel types.
