Century piece of art showcases the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary and Joseph) with
intricate details and a linen border inside a shadow box frame. On the bottom a
taped paper reads "Home Altar of the Holy Family Confraternity Established
by Apostolic Letters of Pope Leo XIII, Dated June 14th, 1892"
The frame is in pretty good shape considering its age, with what looks like a
dab of paint on the left side. I didn’t
want to damage it trying to take it off. It looks like Mom put some wallpaper on the
back to hold it together but it is still kind of loose. Definitely needs some repair on the back but
the wire for hanging holds. Front is in
much better condition. This weighs approximately
6lbs 9oz. Measures approximately 17 3/8” x 21 3/8” x 3
1/4”.
