2008 Nissan 350Z Nismo Coupe

Exterior
Reminiscent of an F-117 Nighthawk fighter jet, Magnetic Black Pearl covers this streamlined Japanese sports car which is adorned with wind tunnel proven aerodynamics. This one's not flying under the radar with that not so stealthy chin spoiler, elaborate wing, rear fascia, and others that are not just for show, they're for airflow and downforce! 18-inch wheels and their argent gray color matches the cladding, while the gold Brembo calipers add a flash of contrast. Underneath it all is the 350's classic shape with flush headlights and tail lights, raked windshield, curves everywhere, and the characteristic vertical door handles. Imperfections include several chips and scratches, a scuff on a rocker panel, some gap misalignment on the hood, splatter on the rear diffuser, scuffs and flex cracks on the rear bumper cover, a nasty scrape on the air dam wing, chips on the front and chin, some curb rash on several wheels.
Interior
We have Lambo style doors where our consignor states original hinges will be included. Red stitching adds a bit of flair to the smooth black door panels where the faux riveted door pull mirrors the outside handle and both doors have heavily scratched plastic faceplates. Red and black cloth buckets fill the cabin and both are in excellent shape. Behind them, formed plastic storage and embedded speakers seamlessly attached to the center console which holds the stout shifter under the center stack of A/C knobs and the Bose AM/FM/CD unit and a storage bin that shows some similar scratching we found on the door. The race inspired wheel and instrument cluster includes central gauges iconically canted towards the driver and Nismo badging graces the red on gray tachometer front and center. The coveted Nismo badge and car number is displayed near the shifter and black carpet covers the floor and topped with Nismo mats.
Drivetrain
The nicely detailed bay holds the 3.5 liter DOHC V6 rated at 306 horsepower that's mated to a 6-speed manual transmission which routes power to the rear axle with 3.53 gears and limited slip.
Undercarriage
Some age induced metal oxidation and minimal surface rust is found underneath in an otherwise clean and dry environment. The Nismo tuned exhaust converges as one, then enters an original muffler, splitting again to exit via tree trunk sized exhaust tips. Brembo power disc brakes are at all four corners and multi-link independent suspension is at the front and the back and makes up the Nismo tuned suspension. While here, we note some severe dry rot on a rear tire's sidewall.
Drive-Ability
Because of the tire condition, we don't venture too far or too fast, and what we observe is a good running Z with all functions at our disposal operating as they should save for the Lambo doors not staying up on their own.
