The cut on this stone is not incidental. A cushion modified brilliant is the shape the trade reaches for when it has yellow rough worth saving colour on — the additional facets send light back through the body of the diamond repeatedly rather than straight out, and every pass deepens what the eye reads as saturation. Yellow diamonds are cut this way on purpose.
GIA has recorded the colour distribution as Even, which is the grade you want and by no means guaranteed in fancy colour. It means the yellow sits consistently across the whole face rather than concentrating in pockets, so the stone reads as one colour from any angle instead of shifting as it turns.
Colour origin is stated as Natural. This diamond has not been irradiated, HPHT treated, coated or enhanced in any way — the yellow is the colour it came out of the ground with, and GIA has said so on the report. Polish is graded Excellent.
Even colour distribution, natural origin, and a cut chosen to hold the yellow. Three things on one report that rarely arrive together at this weight.

Full Disclosure
Clarity is SI1. GIA plotted a feather, a crystal, a needle, a cloud and an extra facet. SI1 is a grade where inclusions are straightforward to find under a loupe, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Please study every photograph and the video, which are shot under natural light without correction, and ask us for more if you want them.
The girdle is very thick to extremely thick and the depth is 67.0%. Both put weight where it cannot be seen, so at 5.19 × 4.52 mm this diamond faces up smaller than a 0.61 carat cut to shallower proportions. Symmetry is graded Good rather than Excellent.
None of the above is buried in small print — it is all on the GIA report, which comes with the stone and can be pulled up on GIA.edu before you bid. Fancy colour diamonds photograph differently under every light source; the GIA colour grade is the reliable reference.
