Vintage Batchelder Tile, exactly 2 11/16" square.  The beige bisque tile is colored with a slightly orange-beige coat and an ochre glaze is applied to the background.  It is 5/8" thick and signed with the Batchelder LA mark.  The face of the tile is in very good, mint condition and shows no wear.  The back edges have a few chips.
