I had spilled coffee on my 3 year old laptop. The screen will turn on showing the DELL logo. The diagnostic light is 3 oranges and 1 white. I was told the motherboard is salvageable and that the laptop could be repaired but the tech didn’t have the time to do this. I removed the hard drive with my files from the laptop.
