I had this set custom made by one of the now long gone woodworking shops in High Wycombe, some 26 years ago. I’m sure they are long gone, but their craftsmanship was exquisite and has stood the test of time. It’s incredibly solid with just a few marks on the table top and a few cracks on the legs where it’s dried out in the central heating.

The top was a huge slab of old antique pine before it even went on the frame. I chose it myself. It’s quite beautiful and carries very few marks even at the age it is. Same for the table legs and the chairs.

It will be sad to part with my very first table and chairs, but I’m sure it’ll easily do another quarter century for someone.

They don’t make them like this anymore and I’m only selling it as we have a new kitchen and seating arrangement that renders it obsolete.

Table top measures 155cm x 80cm x 90cm x (WHD)

Chairs measure 40cm x 110cm x 43cm

Should also mention that it’s all heavy because the wood is so dense. You’ll need 2 people and a van to transport.
