This is an original antique brass maker’s tag marked:

“Made by J.L. Clark Oshkosh WI for Cha’s F. Schraeder Markeson, WI.”

The tag measures approximately 2½ inches long and appears to have come from an early vehicle or equipment piece—possibly a buggy or wagon. It has a great aged patina and retains clear, readable lettering.
