Rickenbacker 1997 Rose Morris Reissue Fireglo Electric Guitar 3.43kg 1990
Description
A 1997 Rose Morris Reissue, believed to be from 1990 based on its serial number, has arrived.
The nut and frets have been replaced, and it's a well-maintained, practical instrument.
The 1997 Rose Morris is based on Rickenbacker's flagship 330 model, incorporating the iconic f-holes.
Currently out of production, it's a highly sought-after model, especially in overseas markets, where it fetches surprisingly high prices.
This is a reissue of a rare model manufactured and exported to the British distributor Rose Morris for a few years starting in 1964.
Based on the serial number, this is a 1990 reissue.
The pickups are toaster-type, recreating the original design.
It boasts a unique semi-acoustic sound with a sense of airiness, and a delicate tone that cannot be achieved with current high-gain pickups.
The frets have been refretted, and the nut has been replaced with slightly higher frets.
The original frets and nut are included.
Therefore, unlike the typical feel of Rickenbacker guitars, this particular instrument allows for a very light touch.
There is almost no fret wear or dents, making it a truly ready-to-play instrument.
There is a large area on the back of the neck, in the center, where the paint has melted due to contact with the stand.
Please check the photos.
Also, the Rickenbacker-specific truss rod wrench is missing.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a valuable model in player's condition.
Please consider it.
