Northwood Carnival Glass Fruits & Flowers
2 Handle Footed Bonbon In AQUA OPAL
A beautiful and rare piece of Northwood Carnival Glass Footed Bonbon Dish, showcasing a delightful array of the pattern FRUITS & FLOWERS in Aqua Opal. The best picture to see the aqua color is the bottom of the foot, sideways picture)
Crafted around 1911, it features an embossed design of three sets of fruits, pear, apple & cherry and ringed by a leaf and vine motif. The center is plain and the outer pattern is basketweave. The color I believe is a stunning aqua opal background, reflecting the exquisite craftsmanship of the era.
With its distinct two-handle silhouette, this piece is a testament to the artistry and finesse of Northwood glassware.
Collectors and enthusiasts will appreciate the authenticity of this original piece, as well as the rarity of finding such a unique item from the United States.
Its elegant style and intricate details make it a stand-out addition to any antique collection of Carnival Glass.
There is some damage on the rim. It has an old chip running along the rim. It is not sharp. It measures about 2.5 cm. Please see the photos. No other issues.
It measures: 19.5cm or 7.75" (handle to handle) x 14cm or 5.5" x 10 cm high or 4"
