Ikepod Hemipode Chronograph GMT Watch
Up for your consideration is a rare Ikepod Hemipode chronograph watch by world renowned designer Marc Newson. The watch is incredibly imaginative and playful. The UFO shaped watch case is made of stainless steel with a brushed finish. Its bezel is adorned with two rows of natural diamonds, containing approx 192 round brilliant diamonds. Orange accents on the chronograph pushers and oversized chronograph hand make it POP! To finish it there's a porthole window on the caseback exhibiting the movement.
Its dial configuration is perfectly balanced in design, the four black sundials contain; date at 3 o'clock, 24 hr GMT second time zone at 6 o'clock, seconds at 9 o'clock, 30 minute chronograph counter at 12 o'clock, orange chronograph hand sweeps to outer seconds.
With its bezel and white strap this is truly a statement art piece on the wrist! Marc Newson is on a tear with his current Ressence collaboration and his touches to the birth of the Apple Watch, the watch community is realizing his impact on the watch world! Kanye West even wears the Ikepod Hemipode in various case metals!
Given its case dimensions on paper this watch does design magic when worn, it sits perfectly and is super comfortable even with smaller wrists.
