The luxurious Deville line had Stainless and Wood trimming within the interior. Each of the door pull straps was capped at the ends with a chrome retainer that held one of these Stainless steel squares. Over time they can be dented, scraped or broken off when trying to replace the door strap. I came across 5 good ones in my collection. Offering them now individually. ITEM: Deville or Calais (Only) Stainless Door Strap Retainer Insert - SOLD INDIVIDUALLY DESCRIPTION: Pretty Good Condition, just some light surface scratches from normal wear and tear. Often they are worn down, dinged, faded, or broken because people think they "snap in" - - wrong, they are bolted from the rear side. None of these are damaged like that - the backing studs are fully intact. Each one is fairly shiny, with just some random light scratches on the face. No additional shipping costs for multiple purchases of these inserts. I also have some of the chrome retainer blocks that these inserts mount into, as well as some 1973-74 Door panels - check my other listings or message me for details. NOTE: Insert #1 has been sold (4-25/2026). 4 remain. NOTE: THESE ARE THE LAST ONES THAT I HAVE AT THIS PRICE POINT, AND LIKELY I WILL NOT BE GETTING ANY MORE. |
