The Athearn N Scale DCC/Sound UP Challenger (3984)/KATO Lighted Cupola Caboose Set is a vintage replica model of the Union Pacific Railroad's steam locomotive and caboose. The caboose was purchased as a kit directly from KATO and it has no case. It will, however, be carefully packed in the Athearn "blue box" along with the Challenger.
This Challenger has been tested thoroughly and functions well. The Caboose lights and rolls freely.
