For those who Repair, Restore, and Improve the geocaching game board!

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has enabled geocachers to beautify and restore natural and urban spaces. In that time, there have been more than 41,000 events where geocachers helped improve the outdoors.

This year’s CITO dates are:

• CITO 2026, Season 1: March 1 through May 31
• CITO 2026, Season 2: September 1 through November 30

How can I earn both CITO 2026 souvenirs?

To earn the CITO 2026, Season 1 and the CITO 2026, Season 2 souvenirs:

• Attend or host any CITO Event during each of the two seasons.
• Only one souvenir is available per season. However, feel free to attend or host as many CITO Events throughout the year as you wish.

The 2026 CITO geocoin is trackable at Geocaching.com.
