Found in Miami FL antiques Mall...   do you collect buttons or sew? Do you collect Antique Mason Jars?   

I am going to leave this as a collection as found and probably created by "Marion".  If it doesn't sell, I'll sell the buttons separate from the antique jar on the next listing since some collectors just want the antique jar. 

Lot - Large collection of misc. Probably French influence.. buttons in a c1910 Mason Jar. Probably owned by a 19th c. Marion who had a birthday in 1938.  Some buttons have France on the back and two have Givenchy

I  quickly sorted the buttons to photograph them but didn't do a complete sort. Then put them back in the jar. The sorted ones i put in baggies to help you when you receive the item. 

Jar is #7 embossed on bottom. approx height 9 3/4" to top of lid 

Light Blue. Dates to c1910 per info on internet. I do not collect buttons or antique jars so this is my limited info on the subject. 

This jar is filled with old buttons, some are apparently shell , some might be bone, some wood. several are embellished with rhinestones or other decoration. some are metal. Some might be 19th century.  There is a locket that is inscribed Marion and Happy Birthday c1938.
