Lot of antique financial ephemera including handwritten and canceled bank checks, a promissory note, and a decorative payment receipt, spanning the late 1800s to early 1900s. Items are from First National Bank, Warwick, New York (dated 1889, 1900, 1908, 1920) and a beautifully printed 1895 receipt from The E.J. Burrowes Co., Portland, Maine. These documents include original signatures, bank routing names, early revenue stamps, and period penmanship. Great for collectors of vintage checks, Americana ephemera, banking history, local New England & N.Y. historical artifacts, and paper collectible displays.
