Antique Norwegian Rosemaling Tole Crumb Tray & Brush Set

Hand-Painted Scandinavian Folk Art

A beautifully preserved Scandinavian folk art crumb tray and brush set featuring traditional Norwegian rosemaling decoration with bird and floral motif.

According to the previous owner, this piece belonged to his mother and originated in Norway. The painting style, color palette, and scrollwork are consistent with traditional Norwegian rosemaling decorative arts.

The tray features:

• Central hand-painted bird motif

• Floral garland with scroll detailing

• Black ground with red and ochre accents

• Teardrop crest medallion with stylized sunburst

• Hand-painted brush handle to match

This is not mass-produced modern décor — the brush strokes, variation in paint, and age wear indicate hand-painted craftsmanship.
