In 1981, during the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, bluegrass player Frantisek Furch began making guitars for himself and his friends. Through trial and error, he gradually improved the quality of his guitars, earning them acclaim from local players, both professional and amateur. By 1993, he had grown into a guitar manufacturer with a staff of approximately 20. The brand is now beloved by many Japanese professional guitarists. This instrument is a pre-owned 2022 model from the RED Pure series "Red Pure GC-LC," the successor to the 25 series of the former Millennium series. It features a Master Grade Alpine spruce top, Master Grade Cocobolo back and sides, Ziricote fingerboard and bridge, mahogany neck, Ziricote headplate, Koa binding, Red Heart purfling, Koa rosette, Koa fingerboard block, pearl liner position markers, and Gotoh 510 nickel patina tuning machines. This top-of-the-line Furch guitar, crafted with uncompromising materials and components, is crafted with generous use of rare materials to deliver crystal-clear clarity across the entire range, rich overtones, and a balanced, highly dynamic sound. The ultra-thin, uniform UV full-pore satin finish gives it a simple yet elegant look. There's one light dent on the top of the body, a few light dents in the binding, and a small scratch on the tip of the headstock, but no major damage and the guitar is in relatively good condition. The neck is in excellent condition and plays well. The endpin that came with the guitar when purchased new is missing, and it remains missing.
