On offer is one of my copies of this classic album by King Crimson. The 2010 vinyl reissue is renowned for being mastered and cut at Loud Mastering in the UK bye John Dent. Approved by Robert Fripp and press on 200 gram vinyl this version is frequently praised for its high Fidelity sound with a level of detail heard in the 1969 studio master. My copy has Jonz and Loud in the dead wax to validate its origin. As always, I will provide as much information as possible for the benefit of buyer and seller. Having play graded the album I can confirm it plays superbly with some very minor surface noise during the extremely quiet passages on “Moonchild” (possibly originating from the pressing, although I cannot be sure as many of my albums do have superficial surface noise on quieter passages). This is a constant frustration for vinyl lovers as surface noise does seem to vary on albums. Overall, the reproduction is exemplary, as would be expected from a pressing approved by Robert. There are no pops, clicks or scratches and I am classifying the a,bum as at least EX. The labels are unmarked and there is very little spindle wear.
