Fits 1967 (??) and 1968 Cadillac Coupe Deville and Calais Coupe (2 Door models only). This will NOT fit the Eldorado - contact me for information about those. COLOR: RED (Donor Car 1968 CDV with 45K original miles). DESCRIPTION: Do you have a great 1968 Coupe DeVille (from Texas, Arizona or California) that has a heat roasted / sun-cracked interior? This panel set (2 pieces) needs a good home in that kind of car. This style of panel was the end of the line for the old school ways. Thick formed vinyl was adhered to very thick fiberboard backings, along with carpet and trim pieces. They were very comfortable in the days before the plastic era entered our lives! But with age and heat the panels can dry out and crack (especially in Southern cars!) or lose their coloring. The panels I am offering in my store are all OEM original parts, made by Cadillac in the 1960's. The Donor car had 45K original miles and was stored in a garage UNUSED for nearly 40 years!! It's rare to find this panel in Excellent / Show Quality condition, after all it's well over HALF of a CENTURY in age. CONDITION: Excellent for their age. These panel came from a 1968 Coupe DeVille (45k) with a RED interior (I have the other rear seat upper sail panels available too - check my store listings or message me). Overall the Armrest Panels are in excellent shape for being 59 years old. Vinyl is not faded. Actually it's still soft and pliable as when it was new. Nice even coloring in the spots that are visible when mounted. It'll be an ideal replacement for a lesser quality pad. Woodgrain looks great too - Not sure if the Calais used wood trim, if not, the stainless steel style panel should interchange into the same holes (use this from your current panel). THIS HAS TO BE THE NICEST REAR TRIM PANEL THAT YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO FIND. If you have a 1967 CDV or Calais Coupe -- verify that this will fit your car before purchasing -- I'm a 1971-76 Cadillac expert, not 1965-70.
