Antique early 1900's flush mount mail slot for a door or wall. Appears to be possibly copper plated over brass. It is in working condition, hinge spring is tight. Over the years someone polished it and the patina and color is uneven, there are scuffs, scratches, abrasions, patina, etc. Back plate measures in total 10" long x 3" wide. Opening is approx. 8" x 1 3/4". Screw or bolt holes are approx. 9" apart on center.
