Lovely Ronson antique gilt brass crucifix with skull & crossbones "Victory Over Death"

 

Made at the Art Metal Works (AMW) factory in Newark, New Jersey, USA

 

9" free standing / 4-footed diamond shaped base, sun rays and fancy scrolls. Appears to be circa early 1910 Art Nouveau to 1920s Art Deco time period.

 

Marked on the back Ronson, AMW, Newark, NJ

 

Measures 8 7/8 inches high, 4 3/4 inches wide, base measures 3 5/8 inches x 3 1/4 inches

Weighs 14.2 ounces

 

Crucifix is in very good condition; no cracks. See pics. A beautiful rare piece!
