John Mayer has captivated the world with his catchy melodies, centered on Texas blues but incorporating country elements.This pre-owned "Artist Series John Mayer Signature Stratocaster" embodies his commitment to sound and playability, and judging by the neck date, it dates to 2007.This classic '60s-style Stratocaster features an alder body, maple neck, and slab-laminated rosewood fingerboard.A slightly gentle 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and 6105-size (narrow-tall) frets.The string guide is positioned higher than usual, and the tension on the 1st and 2nd strings is unique to this model, making this a truly meticulous instrument.Numerous parts have been replaced, including the pickup (black bobbin type, manufacturer and model number unknown), pickguard, arm, bridge, and endpin (changed to a locking pin) (original parts are not included).There are also significant signs of use, including dents with paint chips, scratches from playing, and cracked paint at the joints.The frets appear to have been filed down, with no noticeable dents.
