Description

The Modern Deluxe Series is a modern evolution of traditional Martin guitars.
As the name suggests, this ambitious model incorporates a number of unprecedented new initiatives.
The top is made of spruce treated with the Vintage Tone System (VTS), the same process used in the Authentic Series. The wood is altered in a high-temperature, high-pressure kiln to reproduce the mellow sound of a vintage guitar. The bracing that supports the top is made of Adirondack spruce, also treated with VTS.

Features include Waverly open-back tuning machines (gold), European flamed maple wood binding, a pearl-inlay headstock logo, a gloss-finish headstock, and gold frets made from a harder metal than usual.
The bridge plate inside the body and behind the bridge is made of carbon material, increasing volume.
The neck shape is slightly asymmetrical, allowing for a comfortable grip when holding the 6th string with your thumb.
The bridge pins are made of white Liquidmetal with red dots, contributing to high durability and rich harmonic content.

This guitar was manufactured in 2024 and is in near-mint condition with almost no signs of use.

The neck is straight, and there is ample room in the truss rod.

The action is approximately 2.5mm on the 6th string side at the 12th fret and 1.6mm on the 1st string side, providing excellent playability.

The sound is more brilliant and harmonically rich than the standard D-28 Standard, and it reproduces picking nuances more precisely, with faster response, truly living up to the Modern Deluxe name.

However, the fact that it does not stray from the essence of a "Martin guitar" and still produces that authentic "Martin tone" is a testament to the sophisticated design.
