Gibson Hummingbird Custom SN.625931 1970s Acoustic Guitar

Description

Introducing the "Hummigbird," Gibson's first square-shouldered guitar, which debuted in 1960 and rivals the J-45 in popularity, this iconic Gibson acoustic is now available!

Features a 3-piece mahogany neck, double X bracing, non-adjustable saddles, and block pearloid inlays, typical of the 1973-1975 model.

While the bridge has been repaired and the body has cracked, the instrument has been meticulously finished and is in perfect condition, including the neck, ensuring years of reliable use.

The double X bracing provides a tight, well-balanced sound from low to high, while also retaining a distinctive Gibson-esque wildness. This unique sound, distinct from later '60s reissues, is an addictive instrument.

Includes original hard case.
The string height is 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2mm on the 1st string side (above the 12th fret).

Tuned with Martin Custom Light (11-52) strings.
